Stories for me started when I was a kid, where a vivid imagination conjured all sorts of adventures. I recall my little brother getting annoyed with how intricately I’d outline the made-up world, our roles in it, and character progression. Eventually sports took over my life, guiding me through school and college where I got a useful mechanical engineering degree that I never used. Then came the corporate world and an MBA which earned me $0 extra dollars on a paycheck. Now I have found myself circling back around to stories, throwing as much wild and adventurous stuff into them that I can. I like to think I draw on the interesting people I’ve met while living and working around the world, from Brazil, to West Africa, various European countries, Australia, Korea, and Singapore. The thing that really gets me through all the drafts and revisions is my wife, who supports this passion of mine despite not big a reader of my particular genres. My two minions aren’t supportive quite yet, but I have high hopes for when they grow into little people that they will come around.
